Adult Education Phonics Seminar

In an effort to provide continuing professional development opportunities to our Adult Education instructors and assistants, The Gray House recently offered a phonics training. Aisha Mathews, The Gray House Education Director, worked with Elaine Lampron to develop the phonics seminar. Elaine has been an Adult Education instructor with The Gray House for the past 15 years and is a phonics guru. The inaugural phonics seminar was held in the second floor dining room of The Gray House. The seminar was well-attended and lots of fun, with a great deal of learning. We hope to videotape the next phonics seminar so that those who could not attend in person can still benefit from the training.
