Funds from Chicopee Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Create Fun Environment for Kids

The Gray House was recently awarded a $7,500 grant from Chicopee Savings Bank Charitable Foundation. $2,500 will go toward the Organization’s food assistance program, while the remaining $5,000 was spent on helping to create a fun, safe environment for the children in the Kids’ Club summer and after school programs. On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, Bill Wagner and Teri Szlosek from the Foundation came to see the results of their investment and meet our children who were busy reading at their brand new picnic tables! The Foundation’s generosity helped to cover a portion of the fence which provides a safe boundary for the kids to play inside and fully funded the purchase of picnic tables, umbrellas and a shed to store their outdoor play equipment in! IMG_37972
