Urban Potential Session One a Success!

On Thursday, May 16, Urban Potential at Trinity Church completed its first session of Adult ESOL classes with a multicultural celebration of achievement. And there was much to be celebrated!

Of the 11 students enrolled, six post-tested. Each of those students improved, and five were promoted one level or more. 50% of students improved greater than 50%; and the average change was +4.5 points. One of those students advanced beyond what Urban Potential offers and was referred to another community program with space.

We are SO proud of our adult learners!

The Urban Potential summer session will be held from July 16 until August 8. Registration for that session will be held at Trinity Church in Forest Park on Friday, July 12 and Monday, July 15 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
