Kids’ Club After School and Adult Education programs still have space!

Are you a parent looking for a safe, supportive and encouraging environment where your child can learn, grow and succeed? The Gray House Kids’ Club After School program serves children in grades 2-5 who live in the North End of Springfield and are from low-income families. Kids’ Club focuses on community building, character development and establishing a strong foundation for the youth’s academic and personal success. The program begins on Monday, September 16 and goes through May 28.

Space is also available in our Adult Education program where migrants, refugees and asylees living in Springfield can learn literacy and beginner level English in a safe, encouraging and supportive environment. The Adult Education program offers day classes at The Gray House and evening classes in Forest Park by partnership with Urban Potential at Trinity United Methodist Church. Our students learn how to learn in a supportive environment and community. They gain the educational skills needed to survive and succeed through this program, which offers fundamental skills (reading, writing, math, finance, health and computer) instruction, beginner English classes, and literacy development.
