Site Improvements at The Gray House

Less than 15 years ago, a derelict house–not unlike the “gray house” prior to 1984–sat on the lot next to 22 Sheldon Street. Today, the property is owned by The Gray House and was recently redesigned thanks to funding from the City of Springfield’s Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $25,000, along with contributions from Gagliarducci Construction, Chicopee Savings Bank Charitable Foundation and Springfield Rotary Club. The site improvements have significantly increased accessibility and safety to those coming to The Gray House for services.
